Dr Smitha Pillay's global experience spans India, South Africa and Australia where she gained experience working in Emergency, General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, HIV medicine and Obstetrics.

She relocated to Western Australia with her family in 2006 where she worked in Obstetrics and General Practice in Canarvon. For the last 10 years, she and her family have called Perth home.

When not at work Dr Smitha Pillay enjoys reading, cooking, going to the cinema and travelling.
